A/C in the south helps me sleep

I recently decided to move farther south! I grew up in the southern area of my state, which meant I was close to the beach. I was residing in the northern area for over ten years. I moved there because my husband wanted to, and then I got divorced from him. I still lived in the northern area for 9 years after the divorce. One thing I forgot about from my southern mornings, though, was how much more I need a cooling system, and don’t get me wrong, I used the cooling system all the time while residing in the northern section, but my poor cooling system down here in the southern half just never shuts off. If you go out in the middle of the night, it’s still at least 81 degrees! The thermostat setting on the cooling system is now 70, however I like 71. It’s just too costly to keep running the cooling system all day and all night. The only problem I discovered with setting the thermostat higher was that I just couldn’t sleep. At night, I wanted more cooling system air. In fact, if I could get it to blow right on me, that would have been ideal. I decided that a glad medium would be to go get myself a portable A/C or possibly a window cooling system unit. I headed out to the A/C store, and I decided to supplement the central cooling with a small window cooling system for my family room. It has worked out absolutely well, and I am getting a great night’s sleep every day.
