Gaining new clients for my HVAC company

It doesn’t matter what type of business you labor for, great client service is often key. Even if your task isn’t in sales, or it isn’t in your task description to deliver great service to clients. You should maintain that mindset, as you represent the business that you labor for, at all times, so act accordingly! When I am out on the town, and off the clock, I still represent the business and understand that the people I may meet could become a client! This approach works, because making a great first impression on someone will increase the possibilities of them remembering you when the time comes. I am a Heating plus A/C technician and wear the company hat all day every day, metaphorically speaking. If someone has a question about their cooling system, I answer it with a smile. If they want directions, I will offer them written down on the back of one of our business cards. If someone doesn’t need Heating plus A/C repair today, they may still need it in the future and I want them to remember me. Building word of mouth takes a long time, especially with something with a Heating plus A/C business. If you do your task well people don’t need you again for a long time. If I repair your AC once, I will stand behind our labor and won’t charge you again if it breaks down. This is the sort of word of mouth that will get us a lot of Heating plus A/C business over time.
