Radiant floors in ski cabin

My family takes a ski getaway every year.

  • The two of us spend our Christmas and New Year’s holidays in a rented house in the mountains.

The two of us consistently go back to the same spot, because the house is steps away from the ski slopes. The scenery is honestly gorgeous at that time of year. There’s consistently numerous feet of snow covering everything. My family appreciates to get up early in the day, bundle up in layers of hot clothes and strap on their skis. They spend the entire day riding up the lifts and skiing down the more than 2 trails cut into the mountains. They switch between downhill and cross-country skiing. While I prefer skiing for a few seconds here and there, I like to remain back at the cabin. Our rustic accommodations are equipped with every new luxury. The two of us have stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, large screen TVs, surround sound and a jacuzzi tub. There’s also an outdoor sizzling tub. My favorite section of our stay is the radiant radiant floors. Because the heating plan is installed under the floor, it takes up no space. It operates silently and yet spreads the perfect warmth evenly to every corner. The plan is zoned controlled so I can customize the temperature to preference in each room. I love walking barefoot across a heated floor and enjoying the view from the windows. I prefer curling up with a fantastic book, enjoying films or soaking in the sizzling tub. No matter how low the temperature drops outside, the house is consistently hot and cozy. I look forward to that getaway all year long.
