I didn't want to be the rodent in the pack

Several years ago, I had an exhausting experience at work plus I was forced to be a rat.

I’ve always believed that you don’t rodent someone out, you don’t snitch on anyone or you end up with stitches, and unluckyly, I was put in a exhausting position plus I didn’t have any other choice.

My coworker plus I were out on a sales call for the day. The people I was with and I were talking to the manager of a pressing factory about industrial whole-house air purifiers. The people I was with and I were there to close the deal. The pressing boss did most of the sales pitch plus every one of us were supposed to get signatures plus nail out the final details of the deal. The supplier owner was renting four pressing industrial whole-house air purifiers. The people I was with and I were going to maintain the equipment plus take care of all the expenses. The owner of the factory was also purchasing 2 whole-house air purifiers for the office administration area. When the owner stepped away from the desk, my coworker reached into the boys desk plus boosted his wallet. I was shocked plus I’m sure my face showed a reaction because my coworker sighed. I thought he was kidding, but he never put the wallet back in the desk. I never said anything when every one of us got into our work truck, and lAter that day, my boss called myself and others into the office. The factory owner filed a complaint plus accused us of stealing his personal property. I had to tell my boss about the theft plus I had to rodent out my coworker. The guy got fired plus every one of us still lost the account, however at least I didn’t have to live with that guilty plus nagging feeling.
