I didn't want to be the rodent in the pack

LAter that day, our boss called myself and others into the office

Several years ago, I had an terrible experience at work plus I was forced to be a rat. I’ve always believed that you don’t rodent someone out. You don’t snitch on anyone or you end up with stitches, but unfortunately, I was put in a terrible position plus I didn’t have any other choice. My coworker plus I were out on a sales call for the day. The people I was with and I were talking to the manager of a large factory about industrial media air cleaners. The people I was with and I were there to close the deal. The giant boss did most of the sales pitch plus both of us were supposed to get signatures plus nail out the final details of the deal. The supplier owner was renting numerous large industrial media air cleaners. The people I was with and I were going to maintain the component plus take care of all the expenses. The owner of the factory was also purchasing more than one media air cleaners for the office administration area. When the owner stepped away from the desk, our coworker reached into the men desk plus boosted his wallet. I was shocked plus I’m sure our face showed a reaction because our coworker sighed. I thought he was kidding, even though he never put the wallet back in the desk. I never said anything when both of us got into our work truck. LAter that day, our boss called myself and others into the office. The factory owner filed a complaint plus accused us of stealing his personal property. I had to tell our boss about the theft plus I had to rodent out our coworker. The guy got fired plus both of us still lost the account, but at least I didn’t have to live with that guilty plus nagging feeling.
