Getting a fence to keep kids safe

We’ve now had the fence for nearly ten years and it has held up against snow, sun, rain and wind

Once our third child was born, we needed a bigger house with more bedrooms. We wanted a larger property for them to play. We spent nearly a year looking at different houses before we finally put in an offer. The house we bought was just perfect other than being located on a busy street. The cars tend to speed very quickly by the house. My husband and I worried about the safety of the kids. Although we always keep a close watch on them, we weren’t comfortable with the situation. We decided we needed to install a fence around the entire property. We hoped a fence would not only keep the kids secure but increase privacy as well. At first, we considered building the fence ourselves. When I looked into the cost of materials and realized we lacked the proper equipment, we changed our minds. Plus, the ground was very uneven and required some major landscaping. I contacted a local company who assured us they could handle the job quickly. We checked out all different types of fences and chose vinyl because the material is exceptionally durable and low in maintenance. The fence has really improved the appearance of our property. It looks just beautiful. I like that we can just hose the fence down with water to clean it and we never need to paint or weatherproof it. Our kids can play outside and there’s no worry of them wandering into the street or a stranger coming in. We’ve now had the fence for nearly ten years and it has held up against snow, sun, rain and wind. It still looks brand new.
