Changed settings for trip, forgot

Sometimes I think that I am too focused on the future to live successfully in the present, but I’m the type of person who can get very worried and actually sad if anybody gives me a reason to consider what might happen tomorrow.

  • I will begin to catastrophize in the worst way you could possibly imagine and the next thing you know I have driven myself into a tizzy, however this is a one of the reasons that I have truly been trying to learn how to procrastinate and slow down in my life, however unfortunately, there are still times when I do not manage to achieve this goal, and last year was a one of those times, as I was preparing to go out of neighborhood for the next week.

I wanted to make sure that my house was going to be safe and clean while I was gone, so I made sure to adjust my central heating, cooling, and air quality control programming on the control unit ahead of time. The last thing I wanted was to reach my destination and realize that I never turned down the control unit programming so my energy bill was going to climb through the roof for no reason in my absence. Instead, I decided to change my control unit program ahead of time so that I could simply walk out the door without problems about my indoor air temperature. Unfortunately, after I changed my control unit settings I completely forgot. I returned home from my trip and never thought of my central heating, cooling, and air quality control program again. Several months later after I had called the local indoor air temperature control service shop more than 2 times for my inexplicable air quality, I finally realized the problem, my old control unit settings had never been reinstated.
