I remember a long time when I found a flyer on my lawn.
I looked over the flyer and realized they had some interesting deals for different services.
They had a really cool HVAC system service plan and they also were doing 25% off on ductless mini splits. I heard those were great systems and could easily last 25 years or more with minimal maintenance. Of course you have to keep the air filters clean in the indoor units and you have to clean the outdoor condenser unit on a regular basis. So I ended up calling the HVAC company and I got a quote for a new HVAC installation. I was stunned because even though the installation was 25% off, it still seemed a little bit costly to me. I ended up speaking with some buddies about my situation and they said that there were DIY ductless mini splits. They said I could easily install one on my own and save a killing. They even said they would help me install the thing. So I ended up ordering a very nice ductless mini split and had it delivered to my home. I called my buddies as soon as it arrived and then they drove over to my place. I ordered pizza and wings when we were halfway through the installation. I honestly was surprised how fast the work went once we were able to drill the holes to the outside. You have to drill these holes to send the line sets and power cables through to the outdoor condenser unit. When all was said and done, my friends were satisfied with me buying them drinks for the job, they didn’t want any money.
