My boss definitely bid the job too low

I toil on a construction crew as a general laborer, however I’m still learning a great deal about Construction as well as contracts.

I still toil hard to soak up as much information as I can. I have been toiling for the same construction company for the past 2 years. During that time, I have diagnosed a number of projects. I would actually be in charge of my own crew by now if I had my business license. Regrettably, I do not have the currency to take the test. I still have a good amount of knowledge that comes in handy. My boss wanted me to bid for a construction job. I went to speak with the client as well as I spent approximately 30 minutes making sure that I had everything correct. I told my boss that I thought the quote for the job should be $4,500. My boss said the amount was far too high as well as she told me to call the client as well as bid the job at $3,100. I did not want to argue with my boss about the contract, although I knew it was going to take our construction crew roughly four days to finish the work. I tried to protest, but my boss insisted that she was absolutely correct… The construction job is going to start on Monday as well as I am already concerned that the people I was with and I are going to lose a great deal of currency. Thank goodness I get paid by the hour. Sadly, a lot of the general contractors that the people I was with and I hire work on piece rate. We are going to need these guys to accept a low offer for their assistance.
