Ways to Stay Cool besides More Air Conditioning

The two of us are embarking on the summer time weeks; since I am in the southeast, I do not look forward to the summer time care about some other people do in different parts of the country.

I am sure northerners are glad to put away the snowblowers and bring out the roller blades, but here in the southeast, I don’t have any desire to head outside while all of us were in the summer.

Instead, I care about to be inside where there is air conditioner blowing it’s cool ice cream-like breath on me all day long. It is true, though, that occasionally the control device reads triple digits around here, and a lot of cooling systems cannot even keep up with the demand. The cooling system will run all day long, but you will never reach your desired temperature. Therefore, all of us southerners know some other ways to keep cool, and all of us are always looking for modern ways, as well, but first of all, get ceiling fans! If you already have them, make sure they are operating well; Ceiling fans move the air around entirely well, so you recognize cooler without setting the control device any lower. Next, use cold water! Take a cool shower instead of a warm a single, and if you are desperate, get a big bowl and fill it with ice water, but put your feet in there for a few hours, and you will recognize as if you have your own personal, amazing cooling system! GEt rid of the oil heating systems in your house. No, of course I don’t mean to imply that you would be using your furnace in the summer. I am talking about hidden heaters, then don’t use the oven or stove, and eat salad or use the microwave, but unplug things you don’t use because having things blocked in causes energy and energy means heating.
