My brother is nearly sixty years outdated and he wants a up-to-date career.
He said he’s tired of working, not several afternoons ago, but now he wants to find a up-to-date career.
I began to laugh which made him a bit irritated. He had been a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist for almost forty years now, and I couldn’t see him doing anything else. I was sure that he had no other skills other than heating and air conditioner. Then he told myself and others he needed a up-to-date career, and it was laughable. He told myself and others that he was thinking of taking over the local Heating, Ventilation, and A/C dealer. The owner was retiring and he needed someone to take over the business until he got someone to buy it from him. I wondered if he wasn’t considering buying the business himself. He had another wonderful fifteen years in him, and maybe running the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C business would be easier on him, than being a Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist. I gave him a hug and apologized for laughing, but he surprised me. I explained that I couldn’t see him doing anything but Heating, Ventilation, and A/C. He said he was considering buying the dealer, but he was going to run it for a couple months before making the choice. The owner was stepping down, but he wasn’t going to put the contractor up for sale until our brother made his decision. I wished him luck, because I knew that if he was even considering owning the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C dealer, it was life decreasing for him. My brother never made a decision without giving it a lot of thought.
