They had steaks, corn on the cob, and potatoes on the grill
When we moved, we were no longer in the area that was serviced by our old HVAC company. My husband told me not to worry and he would do all the HVAC servicing until we found a HVAC company that suited us. Two months later, I told him we needed to have the air conditioning unit serviced. He promised to get it done over the weekend. Saturday morning at 7AM, I woke up to the sound of voices in my kitchen, and the smell of frying bacon. My husband, his brother, and his best friend were sitting at the table eating bacon and eggs, and there was a pile of buttered toast sitting on a plate. They were all going to do the air conditioning service. My brother-in-law smiled and invited me to eat with them, but I had to make my own eggs. I grabbed a slice of toast and headed upstairs to get dressed. By noon, they had the front off the air conditioning unit, and they were now pulling out the grill. My husband had gotten out the hamburger and had six patties on a plate. He asked me to make some potato salad. They each ate two hamburgers, and then they went back to work on the AC unit. I was so glad when they said the AC unit was cleaned. They had steaks, corn on the cob, and potatoes on the grill. There was enough food to feed the entire block, and I think I had them all in my yard, but my air conditioning was serviced. On Monday morning, I called a HVAC company and established us as customers. I couldn’t afford to have my husband do all my HVAC servicing.
