New Air Filter Helps My Asthma

As someone with asthma, I’m always looking for ways to help myself breathe easier. My asthma is made drastically worse when my house isn’t as clean, as I have an allergy to dust, so to combat this I always make sure to keep my house incredibly clean and spotless. I dust, mop, and wipe away all mess until I’m satisfied and sure that my home is germ and dust free. I even have an air conditioning system that circulates air well, as I hope it will help me breathe easier. Doing all of this in tandem typically helps to alleviate my trouble breathing, and gives me some reprieve from how hard daily life with asthma can prove itself to be. However, sometimes things can get hard no matter what I do. I racked my brain for a long time while trying to find some form of a cause for my problems, and then it occured to me: my home had very, very outdated air filters. I called my local HVAC provider to schedule a time when they could come and look at my filters in order to check, and they confirmed my original conclusion. My filters were old and simple, and at this point, were clogged full of dust and allergens. At the very sight of it, I made the decision to switch to an electronic filter. Ever since getting an electronic filter instead, I haven’t had to worry about a fraction of the problems I had with my traditional filter. Electronic filters seem to be much more efficient with cleaning the air in my home, and I no longer have the additional issue with breathing that was complicating my asthma! Thanks to my electronic filter, I can feel at peace again.
