Dust was a big problem for our indoor air quality

I know some people tend to have a problem with dust in their homes.

I do not think this is all that uncommon of an issue, but I can’t help but think that the things in my house are the exception. I really do not think there is any house that has more dust than I do. Admittedly part of this is because of my environment and how I choose to live my life. For starters, I live in a very dusty area. The area I live in is more of a desert type of climate and it’s always hot, heated, and sandy here. It doesn’t take a lot of effort for dust to blow into my house and start gathering on the furniture and all the appliances. Whether it is dust just from being inside the house or dust from outside, my dust always seems to be everywhere and it’s really a big problem because I have such a hot and heated climate I need to have a good working air conditioning system. But I am frequently finding that I need to have my air conditioner cleaned out often otherwise it will completely break down just from becoming clogged with dust. I also don’t clean my house as much as I should and so the dust collects very quickly. Lastly I also have pets and they contribute to a lot of the dust, and pet dander. Doing all this you can see why my indoor air quality would be bad, and even though I would use HEPA filters to keep it under control, I have to change them out almost every 2 months. I’ve decided I need to make some lifestyle changes to help keep the level of dust down in my home.
