I felt like I was in a maze in our new home when the two of us first bought the site. The home is genuinely large plus is hooked up to a boiler idea for heating purposes… Unfortunately, a good central cooling idea was non-existent. There were only window AC units in weird windows. I knew that was a situation that the two of us would have to remedy with a central cooling install. All of us made it through our first Winter with no problems. Actually the boiler idea worked good plus it was more energy efficient than I expected. I thought the gas bills would be outrageous, but they weren’t. As soon as the two of us got into the Springtime season, I made arrangements to have the cooling install taken care of. All of us had an Heating plus A/C expert for a free consultation. The guy was good plus told us about weird types of cooling systems including central cooling units, ductless mini split AC units, plus even radiant cooling systems which are interesting. Since the home is genuinely large, I decided that it would be good to have some sort of zoned cooling system, so I went for the ductless multi split AC idea which covers the whole home with customized temperature control settings. The appealing thing about this idea is that it can also be replaced to supply heating as well. I realize that the two of us would have two weird oil gas furnaces if the two of us decided to go that route, but why would you not want to have a solid backup heating idea for when you really need it? I would hate to be stuck in the cold of the Winter with my heating idea failing plus no backup.
