There were cars and trucks all over the road

The temperatures outside were very cold and it was wet and rainy on Thursday.

When I drove home, I knew traffic was going to be a complete mess and total disaster.

Traffic was already backed up even before I made it to the interstate. I sat in front of the McDonald’s parking lot and waited three times for the light to turn green so I could get through. When the weather is less than ideal, a lot of people drive very slowly and that causes delays all over the road. The slow-moving traffic did not delay the driver of a large white truck that was screaming down the highway going 75 mph. The driver of the vehicle was not paying very good attention to the road. I don’t believe she even saw that traffic come to a standstill. Before we knew it, she had slammed into the back of a bus. Suddenly there were cars and trucks all over the road. People were screaming and crying and kids were running away from the scene of the accident. The driver of the large white truck turned out to be an employee from a local HVAC repair service. She was on her way to a job to deliver AC parts to a commercial job site. Her rush and hurry almost cost lives on that day. The HVAC service center received many different calls with complaints about the driver and the way that she behaved. I hope they will consider suspending the employee to make a point. This type of behavior and reckless driving should be unacceptable.
